Find out how to identify the clients who need writers and approach them in a way that will increase your chances. Learn the differences between articles, press releases and advertisements and which type best fits your writing styles. Learn tips to get editors to come to you with work and increase the number of projects you get. This is a great way to practice your writing and possibly get published.
Instructor: James Rada
Jim Rada has written many works of historical fiction and non-fiction history, including three novels about the C&O Canal. He has also written a number of articles about the history of and events on the canal. Jim is a full-time freelance writer who has received numerous awards from the Maryland- Delaware-DC Press Association, Associated Press, Maryland State Teachers Association, Society of Professional Journalists, and Community Newspapers Holdings, Inc. for newspaper writing.
