Personal Self Defensive Tactics

Personal Self Defensive Tactics
1 session • 3 hours

With no regard for age, race, or social status, serious crimes such as rape, robbery, and assault are not selective. Join us to learn common sense rules to protect yourself before, during, and after an attack. With research indicating that educated citizens are best equipped to protect themselves, this class is described by some as an insurance policy – really good to have but hope you never need to use it. Designed for all ages, this information-packed session is not a physical class.

Instructor: Kirby Maybush
Captain Kirby Lee Maybush retired from the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office with 45 years of law enforcement experience. He has taught self-defense/defensive tactics at police, sheriff, and correction academies. An instructor for military police and numerous organizations in the area, his classes have been featured on both TV and radio. Several women, after attending CPT Maybush’s classes, have stated the class experience not only aided in the prevention of a sexual/physical assault, the instruction also increased their self-esteem and self-confidence while improving their personal lives, family ties, and work relationships.
